💙 Collaboration with Farbod Ceramics 

This Afroditi's Art x Farbod Ceramics collaboration is inspired by creative curiosity, queer joy, & neurospicy compatibility. Together, we handpainted actual Delft tiles and loved them so much that we just had to turn them into postcards as well, to share the love with more people!

The skyline of Maastricht we referenced was inspired from a vintage poster by the Lumiere arthouse cinema when they hosted a queer film event in the 1970s. The iconic "be queer do crime" slogan originates from the Stonewall riot and is an anti-capitalistic and anti-authoritarian statement, implying that crime and incivility may be necessary in the fight for equal rights given the criminalization of queerness around the world.
