I made this illustration for the Dolle Mina's in sight of the municipal elections on 18 March 2026. 

The Dolle Mina's are calling for attention to women's rights and urge Limburgers to vote with inclusion and representation in mind. As they point out, the municipal council needs to consist of a mix of all residents in order to make sure that everyone is heard. However, at the moment, that is not the case in Limburg. At the last election, less that 30% of municipal council members were women. Moreover, the municipal council has also not been diverse enough in their points of focus, since there are not many people of color and younger people involved. 

So, go vote on March 18th and vote for parties that advocate for women, LGBTQIA+ people, immigrants, and people of color! 

Do your research and see which parties are paying attention to issues like equal pay, street safety, proper childcare, and free menstrual products.
