On Friday 10 April 2026 I hosted a poster-making workshop for Lumière cinema, as part of the Maastricht Museumnacht event! 

In under 5 hours we welcomed about 120 participants who used collage to make the most imaginative movie posters!

I had prepared cut-outs from old film posters, flyers, as well as from thrifted magazines and comic books, and printed iconic movie scenes that people could use for their creations. It was incredibly inspiring to see how creative and imaginative all the participants were, each in their own unique way!

I am very grateful to my beloved Lumière for the lovely collaboration on this very fun project & even more so to all the people who joined! 

Museumnacht celebrated its 10th anniversary this year! It's an annual event when cultural venues across the city open their doors for a nightlong program of activities! 

Lumière is a local landmark and personal favorite spot! It's a cinema screening up to 300 arthouse-films a year from around the world, with the programme equally divided between smaller independent films and slightly more mainstream fare.
