May this card be a gentle reminder to us all:
We tend to put so much effort in being “strong” and presenting as if we are okay all the time. But that’s so unfair to the complexity of the human experience and emotion.
We simply can’t and shouldn’t always be okay. Among so many other things, now for instance, we’re all dealing with an ongoing pandemic. How could we be okay all the time?! Not feeling okay is normal, it shouldn’t scare us, it doesn’t mean we won’t be okay forever, and being emotional or showing vulnerability are brave and beautiful things we ought to embrace!
