Inspired by childhood joy, whimsical vibes, & all things cute, for the past several months Anne from Tengelwerk and I have been working on a collection of cowboy boot charms. They are handmade with porcelain & hand-painted.

We worked on them while talking about art, life, love, & self-discovery. While making them we giggled, felt inspired, &…occasionally got overwhelmed. But we were mostly just in awe of the cuteness we were creating.The main ingredient of each & every boot was lots & lots of love.

For both of us this project was a labour of love & an exercise in making art for the sake of having fun. Each tiny boot carries with it all the feelings of excitement, joy, & love that we felt while making them.

The porcelain booties are attached to stainless steel necklaces & hoops.

The limited edition collection will be launched at the upcoming Bazaar Du Sud  on 15 July 2023. We can’t wait to see you wear them!
